Wow, I totally fell asleep before I had time to upload this post. Sorry that the Sunday post comes on Monday!
So, this week, my recommendation is a Anatomy of a Misfit by Andrea Portes. A few things you should know about this book; t's filled with stereotypes. The characters don't necessarily surprise you. I do think that it's good to read a story like this so you can see what not to do when writing your own story. Also, the main character Anika doesn't want to be judged, but still judges a lot throughout the book. But she's not perfect and that's okay in the end.
All in all, this is not a perfect book, but I still think it's a very good book. It's about a popular girl trying to find her real place in the world.
Be warned, if you don't want to cry or be sad, maybe don't read this story. The ending is... rough. If you want to be left shaken when you finish a book, you'll definitely enjoy this one.
