Sunday Reading - Angelfall

Hey everyone,
This week I decided to go back to my post-apocalyptic reading days and dig up a favourite of mine, and that's Angelfall my Susan Ee, the first book in the Penryn and the End of Days trilogy.
In Angelfall, the apocalypse hs started. Angels have fallen from the sky, and they're not there to help the humans. They're there to start a war. Humans are hiding, but it's not going so well for them, and they're basically just waiting to be found and potentially exterminated by angels.
So, in that nightmare world, we meet Penryn. She is the definition of badass. When her sister, who's in a wheelchair gets taken by angels, she does absolutely everything in her power to save her, even if that means going face to face with angels, and getting her ass kicked in the process. But she does quite a lot of ass-kicking herself.
Penryn is not a damsel in distress. She's a sister ready to do anything to save the person she loves.
This book is fast paced and fun, but there's also the mother of all slow burns that you'll love. Raffe is a babe. Also, Susan writes these wicked one-lines. She's a seriously talented writer. I honestly don't get why this series isn't more popular.
So, if you want to read a trilogy in like two days, pick up Angelfall. Trust me, you won't be able to stop reading.
