Merry Christmas everyone!
This post comes on Friday instead of Thursday because I got sidetracked. Sorry!
In this Holiday season I decided to suggest one of my favourite movies to watch during Christmas time and that's Little Women, the 1994 version with Wynona Ryder and Christian Bale. One of my favourite movies, period, to be honest.
I literally tear up when the music starts at the beginning of the movie. I feel so nostalgic and happy.
I love this movie with all my heart. I wanted to be Jo when I was younger. I used to write with a fountain pen by candlelight imagining that I was her. I hated the idea of things changing. I'm pretty sure a lot of what I am today is because of Jo March.
I still haven't watched the new version. I feel too scared it'll be disappointed even though I love the actors in it. Little Women is just a special movie for me, a love for it that I share with my mom.
If you've never watched this movie or never read Little Women, I suggest you get on with that. It's the perfect time of year to do so.
I leave you with the trailer:
