Hey everyone!
Thanks again for joining me in my weekly recommendation of things to watch. This week I decided to recommend a movie, Some Kind of Wonderful.
Something you must know about me; I love John Hughes movies. I love 80s movies. Most people, I think, know about Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candles, but Some Kind of Wonderful isn't mentioned as often, and in my opinion, it's just as good.
It's more than just a teens-falling-in-love movie, it's about social classes and defying your parents' expectations.
Keith's dad is a mechanic. All he wants for his son is to go to college and have a career. But all Keith wants is to become an artist. Keith is also in love with Amanda, the hottest, most popular girl in school. He goes out of his way to win her affection. Going out of his way means asking help from his bestfriend Watts. Watts who might, possibly have feelings for him. And in comes the drama.
This is a fun movie. Amanda is not your typical shallow popular girl and Watts is just glorious. And Keith is a clueless puppy.
You'll definitely have fun watching this.
